We have just published a new blog post on the 4th INTOSAI WGEA Awards, which took place in conjuction with the 23rd INTOSAI WGEA Assembly in Malta. The blog is available here.
The WGEA Award - Inspiration in Environmental Auditing, is given out biennally in the WGEA Assembly. This Award recognizes topical ideas and inspiration in environmental auditing, and aims to promote visibility of the field globally. This year, the Jury consisted of experts from SAI Canada, SAI Indonesia and SAI Estonia - some of the previous Chairs of the working group! The Jury chose the winners in two categories under the theme of Innovative Practices in Environmental Auditing: the first category was Innovative Climate Audit and the second was Emerging Environmental Issue in Audit.

The INTOSAI Working Group on Environmental Auditing (WGEA) aims to increase the expertise in environmental auditing and to enhance environmental governance with high-quality contribution and visibility by both members of the Working Group and non–member SAIs. Currently the INTOSAI WGEA consists of 86 member countries.
