WORK PACKAGE 2: Responsible consumption and production – focus on plastic waste 

The target of Work Package 2 is providing an understanding on the status of SDG 12 and supporting SAIs in auditing the implementation of plastic waste policies.  

Actions in the target include: 

  • Utilizing the analysis of Work Package 1, review the existing WGEA materials and audits, as well as other studies connected to SDG 12  
  • Draft a compilation to support the follow-up and review of the UN SDGs  
  • Option for additional products to support audit and capacity building e.g. focusing on plastic waste and how to approach it with an audit 
  •  Communicate the package effectively (infographics, videos, etc).
